Power down the printer and disconnect if it's connected to your Mac via a cable. To re-add the printer, power it back up. The printer may now appear in 'System Preferences - Printers & Scanners' automatically. If the printer doesn't appear, click the '+' button and follow the instructions to re-add the printer. Note: If the window doesn't automatically appear, open a Finder window and select Application Epson Software, and then double-click Epson Connect Printer Setup. Select Printer Registration, and then click Next. When you see the Register a printer to Epson Connect message, click OK. On your Mac, choose Apple menu System Preferences, then click Printers & Scanners. Click the 'Default printer' pop-up menu, then choose an option. If you want the same printer to always be the default printer, choose that printer. The default printer doesn't change even after you print to a different printer. There seems to be confusion on the correct way to add a Ricoh printing device in Mac OS X. Apple and Ricoh have drivers available for the Ricoh line of printers. Apple's updates to the Ricoh 'pack' of drivers, which can be found here - Ricoh Drivers v3.0 Mac X, won't receive frequent updates, but will allow you to get started with a basic driver for Ricoh.

The instructions below are meant for Brown University members who are attempting to connect their personal printer to their computer on Brown wireless networks.Connect Your Printer to Brown-Guest
You can refer to this knowldegebase article on how to connect your printer to the Brown-Guest network.
Get Your Printer's IP Address or DNS Address
Once you've connected your printer successfully to Brown-Guest, it will get an IP address. This can be used to connect your printer. However, most printers support getting a unique DNS address. The difference between these addresses is that using an IP address will eventually result in your printer not working as its IP address is subject to change. The DNS address will always remain the same regardless of your printer's IP address.
