I am trying to scan from my Brother printer using Apple Image Capture, but when I open the scanner, I get the following error:

Apple Image Capture Scanner Free
I deleted my printer and added it back again, but am still getting the same error when I open the scanner from the desktop app as well as opening through Apple > System Preferences > Printers and Scanners Apple usb storage device.

I'm kind of at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have documents that need to get scanned ASAP.
